TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The “Participating Entities” includes all participating stores, client operations, shops and online platforms. Please note Pets Luxury is part of Pet Luxury Group South Africa.

These Terms and Conditions read together with our private policy and all other rules or polices that are made available on our various platforms constitute a written agreement between Pet Luxury and you (“you” and “user”) and will govern our relationship and your use of our Rewards Program.  When we refer to “Services”, we mean any products, goods, services, functionality offered, owned or operated by Pet Luxury Group.

General

The Pet Luxury Rewards program is a multi-partner reward program operated on behalf of all participating entities (“Pet Luxury”).

Only persons who are 18 years or older are eligible to sign up for the Pet Luxury Rewards program.
Only citizens or holiday makers currently in South Africa can sign up on this website.

Valid positive and acceptable forms of identification might be required. Photographic images of Pet Luxury Rewards members may be required for inclusion into the e-commerce system. Copies of each of these documents may be retained by the participating entities if needed.

Pet luxury reserves the right to make changes to the points status or withdraw points at its sole discretion, along with other rights, as deemed necessary. This means that the accumulation and redemption of points may be subject to modification without prior notice. Furthermore, Pet Luxury also holds the right to suspend or terminate program participation in cases where Pet Luxury Rewards members are found to be in violation of the terms and conditions, including the qualification criteria. This serves as a reminder for members to abide by the rules and regulations outlined by Pet Luxury in order to maintain their eligibility for rewards and benefits. It is important for members to regularly review the terms and conditions to ensure compliance and avoid any potential consequences.

The point status is determined by the Pet Luxury Rewards member’s activity in all aspects of the Pet Luxury Rewards program.

It is the Pet Luxury Rewards member’s responsibility to insert the points into electronic platform.

The points remain the property of Pet Luxury, and it reserves the right to adjust or edit or delete points.

Program participation, rewards and benefits are not transferable. Points are limited to one per person, per participating order.

Specific terms and conditions apply to individual rewards, benefits and special offers. Furthermore, Pet Luxury reserves the right without

consultation with rewards members or any prior approval thereof, to amend the terms and conditions for programme participation, including but not limited to alliance with other programmes. Equally rewards, benefits, points earned, special offers, awards, expiry periods and rates at which points are earned may be amended.

Pet Luxury Rewards members may be required to present their points together with a positive and acceptable form of identification when utilizing their points for certain transactions and/or claiming of prizes, special offers or redeeming of vouchers.

Complimentary services are extended to one Pet Luxury Rewards member at the relevant entity’s discretion.

Members are required to notify the relevant participating entity of any changes in address or personal details, either in writing or in person at the Customer Service Desk.

Pet Luxury Rewards members without any activity in areas of Pet Luxury Rewards program that generate points earning for a significant period of time will not be considered for special offers and benefits. In addition, program participation may be terminated accordingly.

Further terms, conditions and rules may be applicable from time to time, which will be specific to the promotional offering. Pet Luxury Rewards members may visit the Pet Luxury Rewards program for the latest terms, conditions and rules that may be applicable to Pet Luxury Rewards program and specific promotional offers.

Pet luxury Rewards members may elect not to be included in Pet Luxury Group’s marketing communications list by opting out at any time by clicking on unsubscribe in email communication or replying STOP to opt out of SMS communication. A reasonable period should be allowed for Adult Luxury Group to give effect to aforementioned opt-out request; hence the Pet Luxury Rewards member may receive marketing communication during the transitional period.

Pet luxury Group reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel Pet Luxury Rewards program at any time with prior notice. In addition, the use of points and/or benefits may be suspended from time to time with notice thereof.

The participating entity in the Pet Luxury Rewards program holds great responsibility in recording and storing members’ information each time they utilize their points. This data is essential for the entity to accurately reward members and to gather valuable information for historical, statistical, and research purposes. The entity will retain this data for as long as necessary to serve the legitimate business interests of Pet Luxury Group. This not only ensures that members are properly rewarded for their loyalty, but also allows the company to analyze trends and make informed decisions about the program.

By retaining this information, the participating entity can continually improve and enhance the Pet Luxury Rewards program, ultimately benefiting both the company and its valued members. It highlights the commitment of the entity towards ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for its members while also using the data to make strategic decisions for the program’s success. The Pet Luxury Rewards program truly values its members and strives to provide them with the best rewards and benefits possible.

Reward participants provide express consent to Pet Luxury Group for the processing and further processing of their personal and special personal information for lawful purposes as set out in Protection of Personal Information Act, to enable Pet Luxury Group to sign up participants to the Pet Luxury Rewards points and gifts manage the functions associated.

Refer to the Pet Luxury Privacy Policy for information regarding personal information collected from participants, including the purpose for which information is collected and the further processing of participants’ personal information. Requests for the deletion, amendment or updating of personal information should be made in writing by the data subject.

Program participants indemnify and hold harmless, Pet Luxury Group, its subsidiaries, management and employees against any legal action, claim or suit, including but not limited to non-compliance in respect of consent requirements.

General:

Points

Points can be earned for your spend at participating Pet Luxury online and in-store shops.

Points at participating Pet Luxury Rewards entities are transferable between all participating entities on all Pet Luxury groups e-commerce sites.

Points are valid for 12 months from first date of issue, after which period they expire. Unused points older than 12 months will be forfeited.

The accumulation of points by other persons on behalf of the registered Pet Luxury Rewards member is expressly prohibited and is grounds for termination of program participation and forfeiture of points and benefits.

Rewards Benefits & Offers

The Pet Luxury Rewards program provides a variety of perks and privileges to its members, but there are specific requirements that must be met. These requirements are based on the member’s level of activity in the program, guaranteeing that the benefits and offers are appropriate for their level of involvement.

The partner reward programs associated with Pet Luxury Rewards operate separately and have their own set of terms and conditions. It is essential for members to carefully read and understand these terms and conditions in order to know their rights and obligations when participating in these partner programs. Pet Luxury cannot be held responsible for any losses, injuries, deaths, or damages that may result from using products, goods, or services offered by these partner programs, including any negligence on behalf of Pet Luxury. It is the responsibility of members to use these programs at their own risk and to take necessary precautions to prevent any potential harm.

Earned Rewards

Rewards can be earned for your spend at participating entities.

The required number of points must be earned over a specific period to qualify for rewards.

The Pet Luxury Rewards program has limitations on the rewards it offers. These rewards are only valid during the advertised time period and for the specific items or services mentioned. They cannot be given to someone else and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Additionally, rewards can only be used for the designated item or service and no refunds will be given. A minimum of 72 hours must pass before a reward can be redeemed. Rewards can be collected at the designated eHost or App on the specified dates of the offer. It’s important to understand that these restrictions are in addition to the standard terms and conditions of the Pet Luxury Rewards program.

By following these guidelines, members can fully enjoy the benefits without any confusion or inconvenience.
